So which 4 teams are likely to make it to the Euro Cup 2008 semi-final showdown ?
1) Between 2 enciting fast attack and defend team Holland and Russia, chances Holland will still win in that as a whole Holland team individual players are more skill and they work togethe in great union passing ball fast for fast attack rather than flashy dribbling unlike Portugese players which eventually kill itself against Germany.
2) Between Spain and Italy chances spain are much better team as a whole, as for lucky Italy the team still seem lethargy, unless the team make it to semi-final it may still be drowsy.
3) Turkey is unlikely to beat Croatia in that Turkey attack is not that convincing, they marginally proceed to quarter final with many players injured. As a team they lack the strategy to win convincingly from the start.
4) Germany or Croatia in semi-final? Croatia if make it to compete with Germany, it will stand a good chance in that they beat Germany before during the 1st round match and during the previous Euro cup. A re-match will certainly see Germany for revenge, whether Gemany make it will depend on the 2 players (Poland kid and the white hair kid)given much spacs to counter-strike Croatia attack. If German can withstand onslaught to penalty kick they may stand a good chance.
6) If Holland is to compete with Spain chances Holland will need to dominate the mid field and not to give too much space for Spain strikers. On the other hand once Spain cannot have a early win it will shake the team confidence and energy to win. That’s what happen to Spain, they can’t finish the end if they were to be stucked in a tightly mark middle field.
7) It certainly will be enciting to see final match between Holland and Croatia. Why not Clash of the titan between Holland and Germany? The match will not be as enciting, as Germany is likely to depend on heading to score or penalty kick to seal the final victory, the match will be tightly mark player for player which make the match slow moving.
